Whatdya know? I actually got up before Michael this morning and beat him to the computer. Or actually that could be because he's decided to do without the computer for a week, to see if he can live without it. Sort of a test run, I suppose. But I actually did get out of bed before he did. Surprisingly enough, I did not even touch the computer at all yesterday until last night after the kids went to bed, and that was only long enough to check e-mail and a couple other sites. Then I laid down on the couch and passed out. Oh yeah, and we're getting rid of cable for awhile. That'll save us a nice little chunk of change. Right now our montly bill is $69.05, for a bunch of channels, but only a very few that we actually frequent. The rest I call "garbage channels" or "junk channels" or "smut channels" (take your pick). Fer real, yo, if you sit in front of the Boob Tube for too long, your brain will evaporate from your skull and said brain will be replaced with the mind of Satin himself. Don't get me wrong, SOME stuff on TV is good, entertaining, wholesome even, but most of it isn't, and I have a bunch of little ears to protect in my household.

Now page 2, I had the most REAL dream just before I woke up, (I've been having LOTS of weird dreams lately, more than usual), and I must've been sleeping like a rock, because when I walked into the bathroom, my eyes were puffy. Yes, puffy. I normally do not have puffy eyes when I wake up. I must be getting old. (Aren't we all?) Just really weird. So about this dream, it started out, something about high school, but I honestly cannot remember anything about that part now. It was really good/interesting at the time, but it's left my memory. My Mom picked me up from school, and then she and I went to the grocery store, actually several grocery stores. I was searching for coffee. Not just any coffee, but the kind in those individual little filter packs. Those things are really convenient, by the way, but I haven't used them in awhile, for the sake of pinching pennies at the grocery store. Anyway, we couldn't find them in like 3 stores, and in one of the stores, I dumped packs and cans of coffee like all over the aisle, while digging in the shelves to look for what I wanted. By that point, I realized my Mom was at the front of the store checking out already. She had a buggy full of stuff, and there I was, empty handed with no coffee. I could even SMELL coffee in my dream. Very weird. So that's not the main part of the dream, I'm just telling the whole dream. So we got back to her house, she was putting the groceries away, and I walked back to my Mom's bedroom for whatever reason, and my grandfather (the one that "disowned" me) was sitting on the foot of the bed with his guitar. He looked somewhat younger than he actually is now. Then my Mom came back there and sat on the foot of the bed beside him, and I plopped up in the middle of the bed, and my grandfather began playing/singing a song...a gospel song...I know the song, I've heard it a million times, but the name of the song has left me at the moment. Anyway, I started singing along with him the harmony part during the chorus line, and they were both amazed that I could do that. All of the sudden, there was a piano in my Mother's bedroom. And they asked me if I could still play, because they haven't heard me play in awhile (which is really true), and then suddenly Ms. Jenny (my Pastor's wife) appeared in the corner of the room, and I was asking her what song we could sing, and we decided on the song she and I had actually sang in church last Sunday, since it was the one we were most practiced up on, and my grandfather was like crying (happy tears) because I was about to play for him. And then I woke up. I wish I could have seen their reactions after us having sang/played for them, but I woke up before that. I hate my dreams sometimes! I always wake up before the best part! I sometimes wonder WHAT they would think if they heard me play now. When I was living at home, I just sort of played around on the piano, didn't do much with it. I can actually PLAY now.

Welp, it's onto watching Barney, yay! Have a good one!
