Okay, how many of the folks I talk to that are Tiger fans are sick of this realignment brouhaha? In my humble opinion, I don't give a rat's you-know-what WHERE Memphis ends up. The important thing (since I don't care about football, and am MORE than ready for basketball season) is that Memphis continues to build a strong program, and with Coach Cal, it's happening. Cal's 1st season...the Tigers go to the NIT, Cal's 2nd season...the Tigers WIN the NIT, Cal's 3rd season...the Tigers go to bigger & better things, the NCAA Tournament. So YOU fill in the blank as to what's next.

In other news, went to the annual Brewer family reunion today in Arkabutla. Certain people weren't there,thank goodness, but there were a few certain people that WERE there and they were all like "I didn't know y'all had another baby" and I'm like "and where have YOU been?" GRR. I don't even consider most of those folks family.

Tomorrow in church we're playing ALL new music we've NEVER attempted before, and we've only practiced a total of ONE time, so I hope it goes alright. Our song leader doesn't do well with odd time measures...he does 4/4 okay if he doesn't speed it up BIG TIME, but if it's ANYTHING else besides 4/4, we crash and burn and I'm trying REALLY hard to catch up with him while my fingers are getting all twisted trying to play 4 flats...he doesn't even let me finish the phrase...UGH!

Okay, that's enough from me for now. I'm going to watch the rest of the football game....Memphis 28, Houston 0....and it's still in the FIRST QUARTER. HOLY COW!!
